The Elmgrove Farmers Collective (EFC) is a grassroots farming organization based in Sutton, Ontario. We offer farm-fresh produce and volunteer opportunities. Read more about our past here, or take some time to meet our members by clicking the links below.
Land Acknowledgement
We begin by acknowledging that Elmgrove Farmers’ Collective is on the treaty lands and territory of the Williams Treaties First Nations, including the Chippewas of Georgina Island. These lands have been cared for since time immemorial by the Anishinaabe peoples, whose deep relationships with the waters, soils, plants, and animals continue to this day.
We also acknowledge that this land was not freely given. It came into settler hands through colonization and broken treaty promises—events that caused, and still cause, deep harm to Indigenous peoples. Our ability to live and farm here is tied to that history, and we accept the responsibility that comes with this truth.
As a collective, we commit to walking this path with care. We will keep learning from and alongside Indigenous peoples, seek opportunities to build relationships and collaborate, and tend the land in ways that honour its original stewards. For us, reconciliation is not a single act, but an ongoing practice rooted in truth, accountability, and action—measured not just by the health of our soil, but by the strength and respect in our relationships.

Hello Garlic Lover!
The Cutting Veg grows 20+ varieties of garlic from various places in the world. Starting with 100 bulbs in 2005, we've built up our volume of seed stock steadily over the years to the point of an harvest of 50,000+ bulbs annually
